A solo show by Poppy Williams 'Everything is Wonderful' is a tongue in cheek social commentary of the mundane activities of our modern world.
As the world deteriorates around us, we pretend to be aware/and or care for the environment, but in reality we are all so caught up in our daily lives to make an honest impact. Controlled by the media, our desires and perspectives are driven by consumerism and popular culture. Constantly devouring information while never absorbing; switching from topic to topic without any real convictions. This series is to remind us while we continue with our daily lives, the world is literally burning outside.
