Kitty Callaghan - Persona Magazine Launch

Kitty Callaghan captures the inaugural launch of Persona Magazine, dedicated to Bella Freud,  in Sydney, amongst friends and contributors.

Kitty documented the evening’s intimate moments set amongst the nooks and books of Cross Art Books, guests sipped Cosmopolitans into the night, where they were the first to preview Issue One ahead of its official launch.

Developed in collaboration with award-winning architecture and design studio Russell & George, the project extends Callaghan's distinctive collage practice beyond the picture plane, transforming the artwork into an inhabitable landscape. Colour, pattern and rhythm unfold throughout the interior, creating a richly layered experience in which visitors are enveloped by the work rather than simply viewing it.
